Department of Pharmacology

The Department of Pharmacology focuses on the study of drug action and effects on biological systems.

It provides training in pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, toxicology, and experimental pharmacology. The department is equipped with facilities for preclinical studies, animal handling (as per CPCSEA norms), and simulation-based pharmacology experiments.

Research activities include screening of new drugs, toxicity studies, and pharmacological evaluations.
